Chemical Texture Services Part 1!!!

H ello!!!! It's been quite some time since my last upload, my apologies 😅 I was really busy at work & then I moved. I finally had some time to create & I decided, let's break down OXIDATION & REDUCTION reactions as they relate to permanent waving & relaxers. My students had quite the time when it came to these reactions, so here we go! One redox reaction/chemical texture services infographic 😁 Hope it helps! Happy studying. PS: I will be creating a part 2 where LANTHIONIZATION is covered (aka the chemical process for HYDROXIDE based relaxer products)

Introductions

Hello! I am Angie. I'm a dual licensed barber & cosmetologist in the state of California. I am a certified Milady Master Educator with a passion for making education (specifically theory) as fun & entertaining as possible so that my students can get the best out of their schooling. Due to the pandemic this year our students (& staff) have had to brave the world of distance learning (as if keeping things interesting wasn't hard enough in person). Thanks to an amazing man I saw on TikTok (@doodlesinthemembrane), I have recently found some fun new methods to make learning those scientific concepts out students love so much (insert sarcasm here).  Anyway, I've created this blog with the goal of sharing these resources & making learning fun for all! Teachers as well as students. I hope you enjoy & benefit from my content! -Angie
